Chief Operating Officer
Rob Nahmensen is the Chief Operating Officer at SAK Healthcare. He brings extensive healthcare leadership experience in long-term care and hospital settings, in both urban and rural markets. His passion for caring for the elderly started at a young age and is the driving force in his work. His leadership focus has been on ensuring high quality patient care, regulatory compliance, and fiscal stewardship.
Prior to working at SAK, Mr. Nahmensen started his career as a nursing home administrator with for-profit and non-profit providers. He then transitioned into executive roles in rural critical access hospitals. In these settings he served as CEO, COO, and CFO at various hospitals in the state of Kansas. He also gained experience during his hospital tenure operating rural health care clinicals and long-term care facilities connected to the hospitals. Mr. Nahmensen moved back into the long-term care field as a Regional Vice President in the state of Texas. In this role he worked in urban and rural settings with facilities ranging in size from 50 to 125 beds. One of the main focuses in this role was stabilizing the operations of facilities in a struggling region, leading them to financial stability and compliance with state and federal regulations.
Mr. Nahmensen currently holds an active Texas Nursing Facilities Administrator’s License. He has earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Concordia University Nebraska, a Master of Arts in Gerontology from Concordia University Nebraska, a Master of Business Administration from Colorado Technical University, and a Master of Accounting from DeVry University.
